Chuck Black has created yet another masterpiece. One you will not want to miss out on! Cloak of the Light is the first book in the Wars of the Realm series. It is an exciting story that is in modern times, and has a few surprise twist and turns that keep you guessing. Once you start reading Cloak of the Light you won't want to put it down!
Drew and his friend, Benjamin Berg, are involved in an accident at the college they both go to, leaving Drew blind. But, his vision is soon restored, and leaves him seeing things that no other human being can see. Invaders. Or at least, that is what Drew calls them. These invisible warriors are trying to influence humans to make bad choices, but they aren't the only one's Drew can see. It seems that there are two type of invaders. One is an evil army trying to destroy human kind. The other is trying to protect humans and are at war with the dark invaders. But what does it all mean? When Drew's sight was restored his friend, Benjamin, had disappeared, and now Drew has to find him. But can he find Ben before the evil invaders destroy him?
I was thrilled when I got a copy of Cloak of the Light, as I am a huge fan of Chuck Black's books. The book is an exciting one, making you think about real life, and how there is a real war going on right now for our souls. The book reminds me of Lord Foulgrin's Letters. Bringing you into the unseen war between good and evil. Cloak of the Light keeps your mind swirling and your imagination reeling. As I read through the pages of Cloak of the Light I immediately fell in love with it. I love books that encourage you in your faith, but adds adventure to it as well. If you love Christian books that hold adventure and spiritual truth, then Cloak of the Light is the book for you. Don't miss out on it!
...Cloak of the Light is definitely on my top ten list!
